I completely agree !! I loved this unit, bought it . Sound is great, voice commands easy and great. Then the voice dialing presets, un believable. It renders this thing useless. I can not stand the pre set google 411 and voicemail dialing positions. They ruined this thing. Maybe they can change this with a firmware change, but I returned mine for this reason only.

I really wanted to be impressed by the V1's features. The audio quality is great. The Voice Isolation modes are fantastic. The Voice Control dialing functions superbly. But the non-removable presets that BlueAnt chose to pre-configure the V1 with are a DEAL BREAKER.

I like my phone's eight favorites just the way they are, yet I now cannot access the 5th favorite due to the non-changeable GOOG-411. As if I really need that on an iPhone 3G with Google Maps and Google Search. Plus the voicemail preset for speed dial 1 makes no sense on an iPhone. Hello... Visual Voicemail. I never call voicemail any longer. Not that all mobile phones have this feature, but I bet that most folks would rather just have 'speed dial 1, 2, 3, etc...

Too bad. Thought we had a "keeper" here but somebody at BlueAnt blew it.
