Samsung BD-P2500 HQV Blu-ray Player

Samsung introduces its fifth generation Blu-ray player, BD-P2500 that comes with the latest BD Live, Hollywood Quality Video (HQV) processing and 7.1-Channel analog audio outputs.

The Samsung BD-P2500 supports the BD Live (Profile 2.0) and Bonus View (Profile 1.1). It features the HQV processing chip for the highest quality viewing of Blu-ray discs, DVD upconverting and JPEG image viewing. It offers also 24fps film mode, xvYCC Deep Color, and Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, dts-HD HR decoding.

The  BD-P2500 has 1GB internal flash memory for BD Live, USB port and LAN ethernet port. It has a HDMI 1.3a output. This fifth gen Blu-ray player will be available in October for $499.99.
