Samsung presents the X360, a ultra portable notebook PC that is “lighter than air”. The laptop is really lighter than the (MacBook) Air by 3oz. X360 is only 0.66-inch thick.
Samsung X360 is powered by an Intel Centrino 2 ULV processor, up to 4GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB SSD or 120GB hard drive. It features a 13.3-inch 1280×800 LED backlit display, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, 7-in-1 card reader and a 1.3 Megapixel webcam. It comes with no optical drive.
X360 offers three USB ports, HDMI, PCI ExpressCard 3/4, Ethernet LAN and VGA ports. Samsung will release this lighter-than-the-AIR X360 in October for Euro 1500-2000. It runs Windows Vista. Samsung is going to launch later this year new models with WiMax with HSDPA.
