Sony KDL-40ZX1 - The Thinnest LCD HDTV

Sony shows us the KDL-40ZX1, the world’s thinnest LCD HDTV that is only 9.9mm thick. This 9.9mm 40-inch LCD HDTV features 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 120Hz MotionFlow technology, Sony’s BRAVIA Engine 2 image processor, and the x.v.Color technology.

Sony KDL-40ZX1 comes with integrated digital TV Tuner. It supports Wireless HD 1080, XMB GUI, AcTVila video on-demand and DLNA. The body of KDL-40ZX1 has only one HDMI port and other connectors, such as three HDMI, USB, LAN, Component, can be found in a separated base station.

This world’s thinnest LCD HDTV is priced at 490,000 Japanese Yen.

    How much in Canadian dollars is the KLV-40ZX1M at 9.9mm??
    Do they make a 46 inch version? Do they plan to make larger
