The Ambisound HTS9810 system comes with four speaker towers, a dedicated centre speaker, a super-slim main DVD/amplifier unit that can be wall or stand mounted and a subwoofer that comes with a 150 watt Class ‘D’ digital amplifier.
The system features the Philips 9.1 Cinema Sound technology, that can create a 9 speakers experience with the five speakers available. Each of the tower speakers has a high quality 18mm soft dome tweeter plus a 2.5″ woofer for conventional 5.1 reproductions with two additional, specifically angled 2.5″ full range driver. Man that thing is slick looking, love the ipod looking screen too.
Your blog reall get me interested. Ever since my college days, where I graduated as a Mechanical Engineer at Texas A&M, I have been a golden ear audiophile with a very sophisticated array of electronics, speakers and turntables with hand-made cartridges. I currently live in Panama City and this self-proclaimed audiophile has turned into a videophone, too.
Thanks, Desmond
Hi Sze,
I noticed there is a mistake, it should be HTS9810 and not HTS8410.
