German company Becker introduces at the IFA 2008 its Crocodile Traffic Assist Z 100 GPS navigation device. This mobile navigation device comes with a rugged look and is water resistant.
This Becker Crocodile features a 4.3-inch widescreen color display, 3-D Terrain View, 3-D City View, text-to-speech in 28 languages. It has 2GB internal memory pre-loaded with Navteq map data of 42 countries.
The integrated route planner comes in handy for longer journeys. It enables the driver to compile complete routes by entering intermediate destinations from the extensive selection of POIs (points of interest), by adding destinations already visited, or by entering addresses directly.
It has headphone jack and an USB port. This outdoor GPS navigation device will be available in October 2008.
