HP EliteBook 6930p Notebook offers 24 Hours Life

HP announced the new EliteBook 6930p laptop PC that offers up to 24 hours of battery life. This EliteBook 6930p utilize HP Illumi-Lite LED display for reducing power consumption. It replace traditional hard drive with Intel’s new X25-M and X18-M Mainstream SATA SSDs that offers up to a 7 percent increase in battery life.

HP EliteBook 6930p has a 14.1-inch widescreen display. It has HP DuraCase, spill-resistant keyboard, shock-resistant SSD drives, enhanced display panels for defending data against bumps, drops and spills. It passed the MIL-STD 810F military-standard tests.

    We have ElliteBook 6930p’s at work and they are all normal laptops with ordinary hdds (of course you can change hdd for ssd if you want).
    Dont know about duracase but they seem to have an aluminum finish, and what d-hell “is enhanced display panels for defending data against bumps”??
    I cant tell if there is a LED backlight, but there is a small led to light up the keyboard when its dark.
    They have good battery life and quite a lot of functions but the quality of bundled software is not sooo good (mostly buggy windows drivers).

    I have an HP 6930p and yes it is a nice machine. But and it a big one it dies with a bright green emerald striped screen and nothing apart from the hard reboot will bring it back.
