Mitsubishi is the forerunner in this industry.I believe that the price will drop after a few years. So, you may wait a few years to be able to get a discounted price. At $6,999 it is a good amount of money. But, I think that it is actually very comprable to other hdtv's of this size.If you have the money now, I would say, get one! You will be making the best investment into your own home entertainment center that anyone can make right now.
