Sony presents in Japan its new Walkman players, the NW-S630FK, NW-S630F and NW-S730F series. All series will be available in four colors. They are available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities.
Basically, the three series Walkman offer same features and functions. They all support MP3, WMA, ATRAC, ATRAC Advanced Lossless, PCM, AAC, HE-AAC music formats, MPEG-4, H.264 AVC, WMV9 video formats, and JPEG image files. They come with a 2-inch LCD display, DSEE sound effect, built-in FM tuner and USB port.
The NW-S630FK series will come with a separated mini speaker.

i also need help with my NW-S636f, i can’t transfer music thru sonic stage 4.3 i already tried media manager and i can transfer photos. i read that i can use sonic stage 5 but i can’t install it because my os does’nt support the language (japanese). any help will be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance….

if you have a problem installing your japanese sony walkman on an english OS, just follow this link and it will help you. all you need is the install cd that came with your player. and extract the files to your desktop and open the folders for sonistage and media manager. look for the install file and change the Install language os to english and save then you can start to install.

are you sure that your model isn’t the NW-S739F. Because if it is then the language can’t be changed to english. I have that exact same player. I got it to work on my netbook with an english OS by copying the files from the software cd that came with my player. If your model is the NWZ-S739FB then no software is needed you just drag and drop music to the player. hope this helps

m not sure if you can change the version of your unit but if you can download sonic stage and media manager (http://www.sony-asia.com/suppo.....ss+ver.3.1) english version you can still use your player. hope this can help you…

I have a big dilemma, I purchased the sony NW-S739F from Japan and am unable to put any music on it, I am able to put photos on it and that’s about it. I have an English OS which won’t let me use the CD it came with. I really like this player and was able to use it in the past with an older version of sonicstage but now I can’t find it because sony upgraded to the 4.3 CP version. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I’m from Philippines. my mom gave it to me from japan, the problem is i don’t understand the Japanese language. its really brand new, so its empty. i cant used it even though i want to. im trying to find the usb connector at the mall. I am not aware of any software you can purchase that will enable you to change the language.
I would suggest that you download the English manual from the link below and figure out what you can from it in conjunction with asking a Japanese friend to translate the Japanese when you really need them to.

I have purchased Sony walkman NW-S638FK in japan and wrongly purchased in Japanese Display. Now unable to change the language.
