Apple introduces the new iPod touch 2G with the firmware version 2.1. Apple says this is the ‘The Funnest iPod ever’. The new iPod touch has a stunningly thin, contoured stainless steel design.

Apple adds dedicated volume control button, integrated speaker, and the Nike + iPod sensor. Like other new iPods, the iPod touch 2G offers the Genius feature that takes one song and creates perfect playlists for you.

Apple iPod touch 2G is available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities. The 32GB version costs $399.00 while the 8GB and 16GB cost $229 and $299 respectively.
