Qualcomm and Freestyle Audio jointly introduce a limited edition MP3 player, Freestyle Audio Soundwave FA300, that has a color mirasol display. The Soundwave FA300 features Bluetooth support and has a a 0.9-inch color mirasol display. This rugged MP3 player is waterproof and has a rubber case to protect it from shocks.

Based on a reflective technology called interferometric modulation, mirasol displays harness ambient light and require no backlighting, thereby consuming significantly less power.
