Scan Toaster Concept

Here is an interesting toaster concept designed by Sung Bae Chang called Scan Toaster that can burn anything to a slice of bread. Connecting the Scan Toaster to a PC via USB, it will download useful information that can be burnt.

Inside the toaster is a network of toasting â€œmodulesâ€, each heated by a hot wire. Each module can move by 30Â° and, once the user selects what they want on their toast - excluding a topping, of course - the modules align themselves and burn the appropriate content onto the bread.

This concept is one of the finalist of a design competition held by Electrolux.
