Canon PowerShot SX10 IS and SX1 IS have 20x Zoom

Canon introduces the new PowerShot SX10 IS and SX1 IS digital cameras. Both PowerShot SX1 IS and PowerShot SX10 IS feature a 10 Megapixel image sensor, a 28mm wide angle 20x optical zoom lens, the Optical image stabilization and the new DIGIC 4 image processor.
They offer also the Face Detection and Motion Dectection technology and Intelligent Contrast Correction. The PowerShot SX1 IS has a 2.8-inch LCD display while the PowerShot SX10 IS gets a 2.5-inch display.
The PowerShot SX1 IS comes with additional support for full resolution continuous 4fps shooting, and Full HD 1080p 30fps movie capturing.
The SX10 IS will be available in October for a price of $399.99 in the US. The Powershot SX1 IS will be available in Europe market for GBP519.99 or Euro 679.99.
Update: Canon will release the PowerShot SX1 IS in the US in April for $599.99.

I was wondering if the SX 1 IS will be coming to Canada????
I thought it would be coming out before the end of 2008, but it still hasn’t come. When will it come, and why is it taking so long if it has already been released in other countries?!
Also, what would be the expected price for the SX 1 IS in canadian dollars?
