Canon PowerShot SD880 IS Digital ELPH Camera

Canon introduces the new PowerShot SD880 IS digital ELPH camera replacing the Powershot SD870. The SD880 IS is known as the IXY DIGITAL 920 IS in Japan to success the IXY DIGITAL 910.

Canon PowerShot SD880 IS comes with a 10 Megapixel image sensor, wide-angle 4x optical zoom lens, optical image stabilization and the new DIGIC 4 image processor.

Like other DIGIC 4 powered cameras, the SD880 IS offers Face Detection, Motion Detection, Intelligent Contrast Correction, and Servo AF. There is a 3-inch LCD display. It will be available in the US in October for $299.99.
