KDDI shows 3.1-inch WVGA OLED and 3D LCD panels

KDDI shows at the CEATEC Japan 2008 a 3.1-inch WVGA 800×480 OLED panel. This WVGA OLED panel is produced by Samsung and utilizes the PenTile pixel array from Clairvoyante Inc.
KDDI presents also a 3D LCD panel that offers a resolution of 800×480. It utilize the “parallax barrier method” to deliver 3D images. KDDI is aiming at commercializing the LCD panel by the end of 2009.
