Super Talent mini PCIe SSD Expansion for Eee PC

Other than Buffalo, Super Talent also announced the new mini PCIe SSD expansion for Asus Eee PC netbooks. These new SSDs use a customized PCI Express interface and supports Asus Eee PC 701, 702, 900, 901, 903, 905 and 1000.

Super Talent’s new SSDs for Eee PC are available in MLC and SLC versions, as listed below:

Mass production will begin in November. It looks like these new SSD expansions may also work with netbooks from other brands as they are “for popular netbook brands”, as mentioned by Super Talent Director of Marketing, Joe James.
