Sony VAIO VGC-RT150Y All-in-one PC

PCMag has done a review on the Sony VAIO VGC-RT150Y all-in-one PC, which can be considered as a iMac challenger. The Sony VAIO VGC-RT150Y is part of Sony’s VAIO RT digital entertainment system series. It is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Quad processor, up to 8GB of RAM, 1000GB hard drive capacity and nVidia GeForce 9600M GT graphic card. It comes with Blu-ray drive and has a 25.5-inch widescreen LCD display.

PCMag gives 4 our of 5 points and comments:

That said, does the RT150Y merit the extra money? If you’re a deep-pocketed artist who doesn’t want to (or can’t) switch to a Mac, the answer is a resounding maybe. If you simply want an all-in-one PC, the Apple iMac or the HP TouchSmart IQ506 are cheaper choices (though the TouchSmart’s performance scores were much weaker than those of either the Sony or the iMac). If minimalist design along with performance are features you’d gladly pay a premium for, the answer is yes. Unlike the others, the RT150Y doesn’t look like a PC, and for some that’s worth the added expense.

Is it possible to upgrade this comps components. The only problems i see with it are two things. One, why does it have internal speakers its a waste of space and its likely someone looking for such a high end computer will have their own high end speakers. Two, its lacking a graphics card. Could you hook up a gtx280 to this and keep the system cool? I am worried about overheating as well.
