Satellite phone service provider, Iridium introduces the new 9555 rugged satellite phone. The Iridium 9555 is design to work under the world’s toughest environments. It features a 200 character illuminated graphic display , a illuminated weather-resistant keypad, integrated speakerphone, support for SMS and short email and quick-connect to Iridium voicemail.
The Iridium 9555 offers 30 hours of standby time and up to 4 hours of talk time. It measures 143 mm (L) x 55 mm (W) x 30 mm (D) and weighs 266 g.

Keron, it may look that way based on comparisons with today’s cell phones but it is an amazing device considering it works anywhere on the planet. Great device to have if you are on the open sea or in the back country.
