OWC Mercury Pro SW-5583 Quad Interface Blu-ray Burner

OWC (Other World Computing) announces Mercury Pro SW-5583 external Blu-ray/DVD/CD burner that offers “Quad interface of eSATA, Firewire 800, Firewire 400, and USB 2.0.
The OWC Mercury Pro SW-5583 can read and write all optical media inclding Blu-ray, DVD, DVD-RAM and CD-R/RW. It can write BD-R at 4x. OWC offers two versions, the standard Mercury Pro SW-5583 with two 25GB BD-R discs priced at $499.99 and the Mercury Pro SW-5583T, costs $579.99, that comes with the Roxio Toast 9 Titanium burning software for Mac. The former option is more preferable.

Blu-ray drive will not be widely used in China because:
1. it needs to buy a special drive.
2. need to buy the cd to support Blu-ray
3. must have the support of high-definition display
