Transcend offers new 2.5-inch Solid State Disks (SSDs), which is available in SATA and IDE interfaces. The storage capacity of these new SSDs ranges from 8GB to 64GB. Both MLC and SLC based SSDs can be found, you can check the list after the break more information.

The SLC-based SATA SSDs offer up to 119MB/s read and 65MB/s write speeds while the SLC-based IDE SSDs read at 57MB/s and write at 41MB/s.
