Garmin GPSMap 696 and GPSMap 695 GPS Devices

After the GPSMap 640 and 620 land and sea GPS devices, Garmin presents the GPSMap 696 and GPSMap 695 professional GPS navigation systems for aviation.
Both GPSMap 696 and GPSMap 695 feature a 480×800 LCD display, and high-sensitivity GPS receiver. Both of them come preloaded with Terrain database, Obstacles database of US nd Europe, US SafeTaxi airport diagrams. US AOPA Airport Directory and Garmin FliteCharts of US.
They have a microSD card slot, in addition to internal memory. The GPSMap 696 comes with also XM WX Weather & Radio for U.S.
Garmin’s GPAMap 696 and GPSMap 695 are priced at 2,700 and $3,300 respectively.
