Cray XT Jaguar – the Fastest Supercomputer

Cray introduces the new XT Jaguar, the world’s fastest supercomputer. The Cray XT Jaguar is powered by over 45,000 quad-core Opteron processors, 362TB of memory and 10PB of storage. It offers 1.64 petaflops processing power, which is 50% faster than IBM’s supercomputer.
