Korean PMP make Maxian offers the new M1 Edu portable multimedia player. The Maxian M1 Edu comes with 8GB of 16GB flash memory and a 3.5-inch 480×320 touchscreen display. It has also FM tuner and a SD/SDHC/MMC card slot for expansion.
The Maxian M1 Edu supports most media formats, including WMV, MPEG1/2/4, ASF, VOB, MP4, H.264 video; MP3, WAV, WMA, OFF, AAC, FLAC, APE audio and JPEG images.
As the name suggests, the M1 Edu is a educational PMP that offers electronic dictionary and other learning tools. The M1 Edu runs Windows CE 5.0 OS.

Korea’s TG Sambo, more commonly known in North America as Averatec, has announced what should be the first Atom-based mobile Internet device (MID) to be produced within the country. The Lluon Mobbit relies on a 1.33GHz Atom processor, paired with 1GB of 533MHz RAM and a choice of 30GB hard drive or 16GB solid-state drive. A 4.8-inch touchscreen on the device is said to support extremely high resolutions, possibly as sharp as 1024×6000.
