S3 Chrome 500 Series Graphics processors

S3 Graphics announced its next generation Chrome 500 graphic processors. The new S3 Chrome 500 is able to handle Blu-ray playback, HD video streaming, DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.0.
The Chrome 500 features the GPGPU (General Purpose GPU) Technology and the ChromotionHD Video Technology supporting H.264, VC-1, WMV-HD, AVD HD standards. It has integrated Dolby 7.1 Digital surround sound.
S3 Chrome 500 utilize the PCI Express 2.0 bus technology and incorporate DisplayPort with HDCP, HDMI with HDCP, dual-link DVI with HDCP, and dual-channel LVDS transmitters.
S3’s first product of the Chrome 500 is the S3 Graphics Chrome 530 GT Graphics Card with 512MB of RAM that will be available for $44.95.
