Sanyo eneloop bike – Electric Hybrid Bicycle

Sanyo announced the eneloop bike, an electric hybrid bicycle that offers a “Power-up Mode” assist ratio of up to 1:2 making riding the bicycle more comfortable. The eneloop bike has the “Loop Charge Function” that charge the battery using the energy produced during downhill runs or slowing down.
Sanyo’s eneloop has also the Two-wheel Drive for increased stability. The bike can travel up to 100km in auto mode with one single charge.
Sanyo will launch the eneloop bike in early February 2009 for 136,290 yen.
