Leica D-Lux 4 TITAN Limited Edition Camera

Leica will release in January 2009 the D-Lux 4 TITAN limited edition digital camera. The Leica D-Lux 4 TITAN will come with exclusive, titanized aluminum robe, an unique case made of finest calf leather.
Based on Panasonic’s Lumix LX3, the Leica D-Lux 4 has a 10 Megapixel CCD image sensor, a F2.0 wide angle LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens, Venus Engine IV image processor, Mega OIS, Face Detection and Intelligent ISO.
Only 500 units of Leica D-Lux 4 TITAN will be available. The price in the UK is GBP 677.

I just received my Leica D-LUX 4 Titan!
The Camera is small hence the fact that it is a compact, It has a nice gun metal titan look
very smooth and exclusive at only a around 1000 made.
It takes nice sharp pics straight out of the box, gives you the option to shoot jpeg, Raw, or HDVideo
if you have the space on your memory card. The only caveat is because it is a compact you can not
exchange lenses and the zoom lens it comes with is not any better than your zoom that comes with your average mobil phone.. So if Leica could make some kind of device to ad on for a zoom lens that would make it worth the $1,000.00 bucks but then again what can you get for a thousand bucks these day’s?
Anyway for what it is ” a Compact camera” it does it’s purpose in style!
