Verbatim introduces its new Speaker Keyboard that comes with a set of built-in stereo speakers on the top edge. Verbatim’s Speaker Keyboard comes with integrated USB audio chipset that overrides the system sound.
The USB-powered speaker keyboard comes with keyboard backlight and a microphone jack. It doesn’t have a headphone jack though. The keyboard has media control buttons that works on both Windows PC and Mac.

Its surprising how many pc makers produce great computers only for them to have totally hopless tinny speakers. This seems to be a good solution if you find your speakers not up to the task. Interested to know just how good the speakers on this bit of kit perform.
“It doesn’t have a headphone jack though” … wrong, there is one on the back next to the mic connection. Sound is great, especially for listening to music while typing/working and easy to control the sound without having to go to windows and the illumination is super cool … I like mine a lot.
Interesting product to combine multiple functions into a USB speaker + keyboard combo. Like the keyboard backlighting especially.
