I once had a small mouse (about thrice the size of Z-Nano), that you can retract the cable after using. The Right button was smaller than normal, and hence took some time getting use to. The most frustrating part was that the cursor would not move at all when I used it on a white table top!
After about 4 months, it suddenly stopped working. I suspect it was due to the thin wires giving way.

Wireless mice get rid of the messy wires, but they are usually more expensive and bulkier. I also had to change batteries every now and then. (3-4 moonths) The transceiver, which is a small, separate piece, has a tendency to be misplaced as well. I have decided to use my wireless mouse only for my desktop, where the transceiver is permanently plugged in. For laptops, portability is more important consideration for me.

Not sure how well this Z-Nano actually works.
It is the right way to go!

Thought this absurdly small mouse would be just another one of those impractical , novelty gadgets when I received one from a friend.

I was so used to 2 fingers clicking that I was simply frustrated trying to change it to one-finger forward and backward clicking. It took a couple of days, but hey, I have been using it for about 2 weeks now, and I am a Convert now ;-)

It is like an extremely tiny mouse with a gaming mouse engine (LASER 1600dpi, FLASH memory to store dpi configuration). And when I read an article, I like to the mouse with the scroll buttons facing upwards and use it like a remote-control. This is definitely better than the scroll wheel that I am used to.

Think that as with any new gadget or new interface, there is a small learning curve to it. Once I overcome that, it is a really wonderful gadget to have!

This Z-Nano Mouse works on nearly every surface, even on black or shiny surfaces that’s a amazing feature.
