My sister has a C78 and it has been a real disappointment. The latest bug it has developed is to mute her during a call – she can hear me but I can’t hear her, even on Speaker.
I spent a bit of time surfing for troubleshooting or fixes, but have found precious little on the phone as a whole, short of complaints.
Does anyone have any ideas on whether it may be a Setting issue that has tripped her Mute?

I have the same problems with it. But I do not have the problems with it resetting any more. The first one I bought did that to me along with not receiving pic messages, it drops the calls a lot when I have good signal on the phone according to the phone like 4-5 bar strength, then it won’t receive some calls at all, plus it would freeze up on me. They replaced it with another one and I have the same problem it dropping calls not receiving calls, and freezing up on me. But the bad thing was I called the number they gave me the run around then I took it in to one of the locations all they did was took the battery out then put back in again the same thing that I did three times before that and frustrated at it. They said they could not do any thing about it for it would not duplicate the problem again they would not replace it but they will put a note in the file. So i got home even more pissed off than ever and called the number back again and talked to the supervisor and he said sorry about it and did a Manuel reset on it and it has been working pretty good ever since except for it dropping calls so I will be dealing with that problem soon with in the next day.

This phone isn’t that bad if you get a piece of paper and put it between the case and battery it doesnt reset but you can’t connect it to a computer… it has 60MB and its via bluetooth so if you have a bluetooth computer you can send songs… it has alot of good options and it’s only pricy because of metro pcs’s deals.. the phone will pay for itself with the amount you save with the low cost of the service.. at&t 40$ phone… 100$ a month Metropcs 130$ phone 10$ a month… do the math people

I have a ZTE C78, it’s my first phone, and I’ll agree that it TOTALLY SUCKS! I can’t connect via bluetooth with my sister’s phone, a Samsung Messager, and I can’t even connect it to my computer to put my pictures from my phone onto my computer. Geezzzz….How long does a person have to wait until they get a good phone around here?

this phone is horrible. there are no drivers , so you cannot connect it to a computer . it consistently misses calls and text messages. even the slightest impact , such as setting it down , can cause it to reset. Its not the case of a defective phone a friend has the exact same problems with her phone as well. you cannot set any of the keys , so writign a text message becomes tedious .all in all a complete waste of money
