HP MediaSmart Server ex485 and ex487 Home Servers

HP launches the MediaSmart Server ex485 and ex487 home servers that are based on Microsoft Windows Home Server platform. These new MediaSmart Servers are compitable with PC and Mac.
Both ex485 and ex487 are powered by an Intel Celeton 2GHz processor, and 2GB of RAM. They have four internal drive bays, gigabit ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports and an eSATA connector. The ex485 has 750GB hard drive and is priced at $599 while the ex487 has 1.5TB at $749.
HP’s MediaSmart Server ex485 and ex487 feature media streaming, iTunes server, PC backup, Mac backup with Apple Time Machine and HP Media Collector. They will be available in January.
