  1. Hi, just browsing for information for my Everett 4g site. Lots of information out there. Not what I was looking for, but very nice site. Cya later.

  2. Though I enjoy the blog, I must disagree on this one. Just try a search online, read the news area, and just maybe you’ll see precisely what I’m speaking about. Thank you!

I noticed on the net the fact that the USS Nimitz will likely be permanently based in Everett at this point. If anyone lives by there, keep an eye out- this particular vessel is really awesome!

After much thought I think i am going to be purchasing this gateway laptop (also owned by acer)

it is 1200 dollars at Best Buys and Newegg

i have read many reviews that say it is worth the price and only a few that say it is bad and the only reason they have to support its bad is that they can’t run crisis on ultra high quality…

I purchased this Acer model from NewEgg.com:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/.....6834115542

Performance wise, it turned out to be a dissappointment, and it ships with a 5400 RPM, vice a 7200 RPM. I had to RMA and return this item, since the HHD specification was not as advertised…. read my NewEgg reviews.

My purchase was for $1,699.-, and NewEgg has since raised the price to $1,899-.

I feel it is an over-statement and marketing hype to label this laptop as a ‘gaming rig’, due to the limitations of the NVIDIA 9700M GT.

Though more costly, better graphic solutions would be the NVIDIA’s 9800M series, or ATi’s Mobility 3870/4870 series. For gaming, a system will only perform as well as it’s graphic solution, and there are several C2D’s that will outperform the Q9000 processor.

Nope, I believe you saw the older version, Acer Aspire AS8930-6448 that has an Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 instead of a quad core. If I overlooked the newer one please post the link.
