Sony BRAVIA VE5-series Eco LCD HDTV

Sony adds to its LCD HDTV lineup the BRAVIA VE5-series models, including the 52-inch KDL-52VE5, the 46-inch KDL-46VE5 and the 40-inch KDL-40VE5. These are eco-friendly HDTVs with Sony’s exclusive micro-tubular Hot Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (HCFL) that helps reduce power consumption by almost 40 percent compared to the company’s other LCD HDTV models. The VE-5 series is also the first LCD TVs to offer zero-watt standby Energy Saving Switch.

Sony BRAVIA VE5-series features BRAVIA Engine 2, BRAVIA Sync, Motionflow 120Hz technology, and 24p True Cinema. It has 4 HDMI inputs and a PC, component, composite and S-video inputs.
