Toshiba Cell-based 4k x 2k TV

At the CES 2009, Toshiba show a prototype of its Cell TV that is obviously based on Toshib’s Cell technology. Toshiba demonstrates the real-time super resolution imaging, using a 56-inch, 4k x 2k pixel panel to display images that the Cell platform upconverts from 1920×1080p to 3840×2160p, thanks to the Resolution+ technology. The technology can also be used to upconvert Internet video to high picture quality.
