Panasonic DMP-B15 - World's First Portable Blu-ray Player

Panasonic announced at the CES 2009 the DMP-B15, which is the world’s first portable Blu-ray Disc player. The Panasonic DMP-B15 features a 8.9-inch WSVGA LCD display and supports BD-Live and VIERA CAST internet accessibility.

Panasonic’s DMP-B15 plays Blu-ray as well as DVD discs. It comes with the PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus, a high quality image-processing technology. It has a SD card slot that allows users to view their digital photos or HD videos. The DMP-B15 has HDMI output.

With the VIERA CAST, the portable Blu-ray player can access internet contents like Amazon Video-on-Demand, YouTube; Google Picasa Web Album; Bloomberg and a weather channel. The Panasonic DMP-B15 will be available in May.
