Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA9 and DMX-WH1 Waterproof Camcorders

In addition to the Full HD DMX-HD2000 and DMX-FH11, DMX-CA9 (top 3) and DMX-WH1 (bottom 2) are the other two new members of Sanyo’s 2009 Xacti lineup. Both camcorders are waterproof and received the IPX8 (full water submersion) certificate based on JIS C 0920 waterproofing guidelines. The CA9 can go underwater for up to 1.5m while the WH1 can be submersed to 3m.
Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA9 (aka VPC-CA9EX) is a 9 Megapixel camcorder with 5x optical zoom and the Xacti DMX-WH1 (aka VPC-WH1EX) has a 1.1 Megapixel image sensor and a 30x optical zoom lens. They both have Digital Image Stabilizer for photos and videos and ISO up to 1600. They have a 2.5-inch LCD screen.
These waterprood Xacti camcorders come with 42MB internal memory and a SD/SDHC card slot.

Kaily, did u get a clone from China? Are you sure it is the orginal Sanyo product? I got my CA9 and it runs perfect!

yeahh, ummm, i brought this camara into the pool and like 10 minutes later it starts spasing out on me. and later i find out that there is a bunch of water inside the camara, and i didnt do anything to make the water enter. so yeah, what shall i do?????
