Garmin FR60 Fitness Watch

Other than GPS devices, Garmin does offer other products like the newly announced FR60 fitness watch. The Garmin FR60 tracks all your workout data, including time, heart rate, calories burned, lap times and averages. It offers also training tools like training alarms and workout goals, and Virtual Partner. The watch will come in men’s and women’s versions.
Garmin’s FR60 records 100 laps or up to 15 hours of data. It has heart rate monitor, bike speed/cadence sensor, Pace alert, Time/distance alert and sport watch. The FR60 is waterproof up to 50m. It has a 56×32 pixels display. The FR60 supports ANT+ wireless sync and comes with a wireless USB ANT Stick.
The Garmin FR60 will be available in Q2 2009 for a suggested ratail price of $129.99.

The FR 60 does not have the capability to display “percent of max” or “percent of maximum heart rate” on the watch. This is really disappointing as there are about 23 other fields from which to choose, many of them useless to most.
