LaCie d2 Blu-ray Drive Recorder

Lacie has launched its d2 DVD+/-RW 22x burner a month before, the company now introduces the new d2 Blu-ray Drive, an external BD-R, BD-RE burner. Lacie’s d3 Blu-ray writes BD-R (both single and dual layer) at 4x to 8x and BD-RE at 2x. The Blu-ray burner also write DVD+/-R at 16x, DVD+/-RW at 6x and DVD+/-R DL at 8x.
LaCie d2 Blu-ray Drive utlizes USB 2.0 and FireWire interfaces. It can read content protected AACS BD-ROM at 2x. The device can also record CD-R at 48x and CD-RW at 24x.
LaCie d2 Blu-ray Drive is priced $449.99. It works with Windows XP/Vista and Mac OS X 10.4.8 or above.
