Nikon CoolPix L100 Camera with 15x optical zoom

While Nikon’s P90 offers 24x optical zoom, the company introduces also the CoolPix L100 that has 15x optical zoom. Nikon’s CoolPix L100 is a 10 Megapixel camera with a 15x Zoom-NIKKOR lens, Nikon’s EXPEED processor and a 3-inch LCD display.
The L100 features 80-3200 ISO sensitivity, 1cm macro shooting, image sensor shift vibration reduction, Motion Detection, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, D-Lighting, Distortion Control, Face-priority AF and Smile mode.
CoolPix L100 has 44MB internal memory and supports SD/SDHC cards. It is powered by AA battries instead of rechargeable Li-ion Battery. Nikon CoolPix L100 will be available in March for $279.

im 16 and i have had a little Kodak Easy share 5MP 3X optical zoom camera forever and i love it. however it is ready for and upgrade and so am i. i am trying to stay under $300 and am seriously thinking about getting this camera. just wanting your oppinion on this.
