Recompute - Sustainable Desktop Computer

Designed and created by Brenden Macaluso for the Green Gadgets Competition, Recompute is a sustainable desktop computer. Instead of steel chassis, the Recompute is made of recyclable and renewable corrugated cardboard. It uses only three major electronic components, a motherboard with processor & memory, power supply, and a hard drive.

Recompute is a new way of thinking about computers that layers sustainable ideas throughout its lifecycle to make an overall sustainable product that can be easily replicated. Recompute address sustainability along three main points during its life.

According to the designer, the Recompute is not only just a concept but a real working computer.
