If Samsung’s U70 7-inch USB display is too small for you. Look at Samsung’s new Lapfit external display.
Samsung announced in Korea the new Lapfit LD190G and Lapfit LD220G USB external LCD displays. The 19-inch LD190G and 22-inch LD220G feature 1366×768 resolution, 20,000:1 contrat ratio. These Lapfit monitors uses USB ports to connect to a PC and they also serve as a USB hub.

I think this product is great and the 19″ would easily slip into my backpack with my laptop however the issue of the screen surface being damaged is too high. I can’t find any sort of hard clip on plastic face plate or case of any kind. My question is “What is the point of it being portable if it isn’t protected in the most sensitive spot?” Great idea but unless I can slip it in with my laptop and truly take it everywhere it will remain no more useful then a standard monitor at home. If anyone finds anything could you please let me know? Cheers
