At the MWC 2009, Asus announced the new Eee PC 1000HG netbook that comes with both WiMAX and Wi-Fi capabilities. To be more specific, the Eee PC 1000HG supports IEEE 802.16e, WAVE2 and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n in the 2.4GHz~2.7GHz and 5.1GHz~5.8GHz bands.
Other than WiMax netbook, Asus also shows us two 3.5G-equipped Eee PC models, the Eee PC 1003HA and Eee PC T91. They include Huawei’s EM770, which is one of the first 3.5G modules developed for Windows 7.
The Eee PC 1003HA has a 10-inch LED-backlit LCD display and 160GB hard drive while the T91 has a rotatable touchscreen. Asus shows these two netbooks with Windows 7 running.
