FujiFilm FinePix S1500 12x Zoom Camera

FujiFilm announced the new FinePix S1500 super-zoom digital camera, which is the successor of the popular FinePix S1000. The FinePix S1500 features a 10 Megapixel CCD image sensor, a Fujinon 12x optical zoom lens with a focal length equivalent to 33 – 396mm on a 35mm , ISO up to 6400, CCD-shift type image stabilization and a 2.7-inch LCD display.
FujiFilm’s FinePix S1500 includes also Face Detection, Automatic Scene Recognition, Instant Zoom, Panoramic Shooting mode. It can record 640×480 VGA movie at 30fps. The S1500 has 23MB onboard memory and a SD/SDHC card slot.
The FujiFilm FinePix S1500 will be shipped in March for $249.

What is the difference between Fujifilm S1500 and S1500FD?? Look both the same to me. Assuming FD stands for “face Detection, does the S1500 have this feature? Before I buy.. kell21@ntlworld.com
