Shuttle XPS SDXi Carbon Liquid-Cooled Mini PC

Shuttle presents the new XPS SDXi Carbon, a small form factor PC equipped with water cooling solutions, and features the world’s first Liquid I.C.E. technology.
The XPS SDXi Carbon is a barebone solution that supports Intel’s Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual Core or Celeron 400 series processor, up to Core 2 Extreme QX9650 3.00GHz. It can have up to 16GB of memory, up to 2TB of hard drive capacity, a Blu-ray DVD combo, 512MB GeForce 9800 GT graphics. 1GB GeForce GTX 285 and 512MB RADEON HD4850 options are also available.
Shuttle’s XPS SDXi Carbon includes 7.1 channel HD audio and optional WiFi connectivity. The price if XPS SDXi Carbon starts at $2599.

Whats the fans for in the back? Additional cooling? Or does it help circulate the mineral oil to be cooled by the fan like a heat exchanger?
