OWC Mercury Pro 8x Blu-ray Quad-Interface Burner

OWC presents a new 8X Mercury Pro Blu-ray external burner that is based on Pioneer BDR-203 and offers quad-interface. The new Mercury Pro 8X burner write BD-R (both single and double layer) at 8X and BD-RE at 2X. It can burn also DVD-RAM at 5X, DVD+/-R at 16X, DVD+/-RW at 6X and DVD+/-R Dual Layer at 8X. CD-R/RW are also supported.

OWC’s new Blu-ray burner has four interfaces, including two FireWire 800 ports, a FireWire 400, an eSATA and a USB 2.0. It has 8MB cache memory and supports plug-and-play on both Windows PC and Mac.
