Other than the X960, Acer made the previously leaked DX900 official at the MWC 2009. The Tempo DX900 is the world’s first Dual SIM smartphone to support both 3G and 2G networks. THE DX900 is powered by a Samsung S3C 6400 533MHz processor, 128MB RAM and 256MB flash memory.

LG, at the MWC 2009, presents the new GM730 Windows Mobile 6.1-based smartphone featuring the S-Class 3D UI. The LG GM730 features a 3-inch 240×400 LCD touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel camera, and a front camera for video calls.

At the MWC 2009, Samsung introduces two BEAT Edition mobile phones, the previously leaked BEATDJ M7600 and the BEATDISC M6710. The BEATDJ features a 2.8-inch AMOLED 240×400 full touchscren display and comes with BEAT DJ application and DISC UI that allows users to add their own voice and sound effects to their favourite songs using Music Filters, Scratch, DJ Mix functions.

Samsung announced the new OmniaHD I8910, the brand new replacement of the Samsung Omnia. The OmniaHD features a 3.7-inch 16million color AMOLED QHD touchscreen display and a 8.1 Megapixel auto focus camera that can record 24fps 1280x720p HD video clips. The camera offers also Face Detection, Smile Shot, Blink Shot and Panorama Shot functions.

In addition to the E75, Nokia brings to the MWC 2009 its E55 candybar smartphone with semi-QWERTY keypad. The E55 features a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth and integrated A-GPS with Nokia Maps.

Finally, Nokia made official the E75 QWERTY smartphone, which has been spotted, priced before it is announced at the MWC 2009. Nokia E75 comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The E75 has A-GPS support and Nokia Maps. It has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Nokia introduces two new GPS-enabled phones at the MWC 2009. The first one is a new member of Nokia’s Navigator series, the 6710 Navigator slider. The other one is the 6720 classic candy-bar phone.

With the huge success of the Touch Diamond, HTC presents the succeeding model, the Touch Diamond2 at the MWC 2009. The Touch Diamond2 is the non-QWERTY version of the new Touch Pro2 but with a smaller display and better camera.

At the MWC 2009, HTC introduces the new Touch Pro2 QWERTY smartphone, the successor of the Touch Pro. The Touch Pro2 comes with HTC’s new TouchFLO 3D interface and the zoom bar for zooming in and out when viewing images, web pages or Google Maps.
