At the upcoming Mobile World Congress, we can expect Samsung to introduces at least nine new mobile phones. These new phones are Samsung’s low- or mid-range models.

A slider phone with a 2.2-inch OLED display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with LED flash, FM tuner, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. It supports GPRS/EDGE but no 3G.

The above is a leaked image of LG’s upcoming Arena KM900 touchscreen smartphone. The Arena KM900 will offers an iPhone-like UI dubbed as the S-Class 3D UI. It comes with a metallic case and offers a 5 Megapixel camera, and a front camera meaning that the Arena is most likely a 3G phone. The phone will support WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Toshiba announced the new TG01 PDA phone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD2850 1GHz chipset. The TG01 has a 4.1-inch 800×480 widescreen touchscreen and offers a 3D UI. The 9.9mm thin TG01 supports HSDPA, GPS, and WiFi connectivity. It has a microSD card slot.

Nikon announced two new entry-level cameras, the CoolPix L20 and the CoolPix L19. Both compact cameras have the EXPEED image processor. The L20 has a 10 Megapixel sensor and a 3-inch LCD screen while the L19 features 8 Megapixel sensor and 2.7-inch screen. They both got a 3.6x Zoom-NIKKOR lens.

While Nikon’s P90 offers 24x optical zoom, the company introduces also the CoolPix L100 that has 15x optical zoom. Nikon’s CoolPix L100 is a 10 Megapixel camera with a 15x Zoom-NIKKOR lens, Nikon’s EXPEED processor and a 3-inch LCD display.

Other than the P90 and S620/S630, Nikon presents the CoolPix S220 and S230 slim compact digital cameras, replacing the S210. These two cameras offer similar functions. They have a 10 Megapixel camera, 3x Zoom-NIKKOR, 80-200 ISO range, Electronic Vibration Reduction, Motion Detection, and Face-priority AF functions. Like Nikon’s other new camera, both S220 and S230 have the EXPEED image processor.

Nikon introduces the new CoolPix S620 and S620 digital cameras, that are the successor of the CoolPix S610.

The CoolPix S620 features a 12.2 Megapixel image sensor, 4x Zoom-NIKKOR lens. The metallic CoolPix S630, instead, has a 12 Megapixel image sensor with a 7x Zoom-NIKKOR lens. Both cameras have a 2.7-inch LCD screen, 4x digital zoom, ISO 100-6400, EXPEED image processor, lens shift vibration reduction, motion detection, Blink proof function and Face-priority AF.

Nikon announced the new CoolPix P90 digital camera that offers 24x optical zoom. The CoolPix P90 features a 12.1-inch CCD image sensor, a 24x Zoom-NIKKOR lens with 26mm wide angle, EXPEED image processor, 64-6400 ISO and image sensor shift vibration reduction.
