Onyx Boox ebook reader

Onyx International is going to presents in the CeBit its new Boox ebook reader, competing with Amazon’s Kindle 2. Powered by a 400MHz processor or above, the Boox has 128MB RAM and 512MB flash memory. Users can get the optional WiFi, CDMA, 3G, GPRS support.

The Boox has a 6-inch, 8-inch or 9.7-inch E-Link Vizplex EPD touchscreen display with 16-level grayscale. It has a USB 2.0 port, a SD/MMC card slot with SDIO/SDHC support and a 2.5mm headphone jack. Onyx’s Boox has an integrated 1600mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery. Format supported include PDF, TXT, HTML, MOBIPOCKET, EPUB, CHM, PDB, JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, MP3, WAV.
