Sony BRAVIA W5100 series Networked LCD HDTVs

Sony announced its new BRAVIA W5100 series network LCD HDTVs that offer the same interactive functionality as the recently announced BRAVIA Z5100 and XBR9 models. The networked BRAVIA W5100 series features an Ethernet for connecting to the internet and access content from Amazon Video On Demand, YouTube, Yahoo!, Sony Pictures, Sony Music..etc.
Three models will be available, the 52-inch KDL-52W5100, 46-inch KDL-46W5100 and 40-inch KDL-40W5100. All of them have 1920x1080p Full HD resolution, Motionflow 120Hz technology, BRAVIA Engine 3, 24p True Cinema, and USB input.
The BRAVIA W5100 series is DLNA compliant and supports BRAVIA Sync and BRAVIA Link. You can expect four HDMI inputs. They will be available in Spring 2009.
Sony presents also the HT-CT500 3.1 channel sound bar that is designed for the W5100 series. It will be available in June for $500.

I did not buy any TV from Sony before, especially since of the big price difference compared to e.g. Samsung or other brands. This is my fist Sony, but it will not be my last, the picture quality is alot better than anything I saw before, very impressive. So, do not look at the price only, Sony is well worth the additional money!
