China Unicom to offer iPhone and G1 in China

Finally, Apple’s iPhone is heading to the huge China market. Instead of China Mobile, who has a larger market share and runs TD-SCDMA 3G network, the iPhone will be offered by China Unicom who has got the WCDMA 3G license in China.

Other than the iPhone, as shown at Shanghai Unicom’s website, the company is also going to launch the T-Mobile G1 Android phone. No words on availability and pricing.
