LG launches in Korea its new SV800 Lollipop mobile phone. The flip-style Lollipop is a 3G phone with a 2.8-inch LCD display, a 3 Megapixel main camera, a 1.3 Megapixel secondary camera for video call and a microSD card slot.
The phone features 220 LED lights on its front panel to show 22 different emoticons. The SV800 Lollipop is also known as LG KH8000 at KTF and LG LH8000 at LG Telecom. It is priced at about 500,000 Won.

i just got this phone, (pink one^^) in sg today.
its really cute but i was wondering is there a way to disable the memory function? When you close it, it remembers where you were last and it opens to that page instead of the homepage. I want it to open straight at the homepage everytime.

Yup! The inner cam can take photos, just go to the camera function, and go to options and choose swap cam.
Actually the inner cam is actually better to me. The results are realllll clear!

the phone is rly cute. I love it. but IDKW somehow the phone can suddenly turned off. and the date-time will be reset automatically. IDEKW. :s

It can type Korean BUT to read it, your whole phone’s language has to be in Korean which is a pain..
ANYWAY, My front backing of my phone (the top pink part where 2 parts connect to be able to flip) dropped out somehow w/o even dropping and falling to the ground or hard surfaces. I’ve asked someone to send it for Servicing today but Im not sure whether its okay for servicing. So yea, be careful. My secret lighting is also scratched kinda badly too..

But if you’re intending to type Hangul (Korean.) that’ll take a bit cause its confusing but you’ll get a hang of stuff after awhile of playing with the function.
If you’re from Singapore too, most carriers ( I think ALL even) dont provide you with a memory SD card. So the memory is little but NOT as little as 30. W/o any SD cards you can only store 45 pictures but once you pop in a 1GB Micro SD, 700+ photos can be taken and stuff. Also be sure its a Micro SD instead of the usual SD (Micros are usually alot smaller if you didnt know.) You slot it kinda below the SIM Card (Theres a sign to helps you if any problems.)

Christy, i don’t think the red lollipop will come out because in korea (i live in korea) they only have very few red lollipops here. i tried to get red but it was impossible. so i got the blue

I got myself one 2 days ago. (a pink for only $68 thanks to M1) And I tell you its CUTE AND AWESOME. The camera is real good esp the front one, good for selcas.
If you buy from m1, just know that there is NO SD card so it only stores 45 pics. But I inserted a 1GB Micro SD (It uses the Micro one anyway.) and theres 700+ pics that can be taken. So yea.

M1 is a site. Just checked it and they only deliver to Singapore and to get the $68, you have to sign to a contract instead of pay as you go.

Its in English, but the languages can be changed, They have chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Hangul (Korean..) and Malay. Usually the language is auto chosen through the SIM Card. Typing languages are also the same.

I recently contacted LG, And they said they the phones will be out soon. I was told Mid-Jan but the CF for it in China is all out already so wait awhile more for it to be released.
Once phones are out in China (Like Samsung/Anycall or LG) they will be released soon after in Singapore like the Anycall/Samsung CORBY.

i saw it today at LG Tiong Bahru branch. However, the girl told me they only have Pink at the moment as Blue is not here yet. She also said SG wouldn’t be bringing in the Titanium Grey, Red and Green which is kind of disappointing as i like the red one. I hope LG changes their mind and introduce the other 3 colour in SG soon. hopefully before April so i can get it when my contract ends! hehehe
Btw, pricing at $428 without contract.
According to LG Mobile Singapore on FB, the launch colours available will be Aqua Blue & Pink, but the other colours like Red & Grey will be brought in on special occasions i.e. v-day.

They do have a sim card slot. The korean version are the ones that does not since when it was first released, it was attached to a single mobile service provider

The phone will NOT be able to work outside of Korea unless tweaked. I wanted to buy it in Korea so yeah…
The price aint cheap (like how the other phones in Korea are too) since I recently went there and checked out some prices. The phone is still quite popular in Korea since they still have the posters with BIGBANG and 2NE1 pasted up at some shops.
Gonna mail LG soon to ask whether it’ll be coming to SG since my phones dying and I need a new phone and want this.

to tell the truth, its awesome but i would prefer the ice cream 2 (LG LU1600) because i don’t really like lollipop much, its got great games and everything but… thats like the only cool thing other than you can edit pics, and the led lights, and cool buttons (its hard to text because the #’s and letters are small) and the menu . its just like any other phone

People say, (not sure yet) but the lollipop is coming to singapore. i’m not sure if u can get it online or anything. u can come to korea and buy it then take it to where u live and do something to make it useable in your area.

Well lucky for Singapore its coming out in November? ya. I heard rumors the LG Lollipop is coming out in US market in October… maybe fake but I don’t know. I did went to Korea Town in LA and they do have it (they order it legally) plus doing a contract thing its a drag. but I am getting it later when it comes out. It will be cheaper I believe. You can get this phone in a local Korean cellphone store, if they have it avaliable. but you can still ask them and order it for you. This works in the US as well. Hope this help. ^-^v

actually you can’t order it from US.. they have to order it in Korea inorder to obtained it. They also have to tweak the phone for extra cost. right now it only works for Verizon. idk about london… I don’t think it won’t work there. for CA, fo ro Korea Town

You can’t order it online.. It is impossible.. they won’t allow. Like I said order it from a korean cellphone store. Just ask them… if they can’t do it, go onto the next. You change the language setting… thats why thereis korean and english alphabet on the keyboard… >_> lots of research here…….. .______. you guys should research yourslef.
